MAIN STAGE SEASON of SHOWS

Young Actors Theatre is proud to announce….
Our 35th Anniversary Season of Shows
Season 2010-2011 will feature:
The Wizard of Oz (November 12-21, 2010)
One of the most cherished films to ever grace the screen comes to life on the YAT stage. Join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto
on their adventures as Dorothy learns there really is “No Place Like Home”.
The Diary of Anne Frank (February 1 - 6, 2011)
Anne Frank emerges from history a living, lyrical, intensely gifted young girl, who confronts her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her time with astonishing
honesty, wit, and determination. An impassioned drama about the lives of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic, this Pulitzer Prize winning play
captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence—their fear, their hope, their laughter, their grief.
Charlotte’s Web (April 1 -10, 2011)
E. B. White’s beloved classic comes to life in a thrilling theatrical presentation. Charlotte's Web, a classic of children's literature, will be enjoyable to adults as well as
children. This is a beautiful play about friendship that will leave you inspired and enchanted.

Hairspray (July 2011)
Get swept away to 1960's Baltimore, where the 50's are out -- and change is in the air.  Loveable plus-size heroine, Tracy Turnblad, has a passion for dancing, and wins
a spot on the local TV dance program, "The Corny Collins Show."  Overnight she finds herself transformed from outsider to teen celebrity.  Can a larger-than-life adolescent
manage to vanquish the program's reigning princess, integrate the television show, and find true love without mussing her hair?  Don't miss this "must see" hit, directed by
Worth Williams who played Amber Von Tussle in the First National Broadway Tour of this Tony-Award winning musical!
